A. Figueiredo, N. Bellandi, A. Vanola, L. Zamboni
Abstract:
Original Refractory Products The production of magnesia-carbon bricks in Argentina began in 1989. Those bricks were simple, resin-bonded materials containing traditional metal powders (Al and Si) withoutfused magnesia. They were pressed using an impact press at high specific pressure, aiming at extremely low values of apparent porosity. Two main shapes were used: curves and arches.
