Abstract:
It is well known that the steel industry is a risky and dangerous working environment. During the past years, the steel industry has been placying growing emphasis on fully automatic producstion lines with a high degree of reliability. The main challenge in designing of these systems is for foster the producstion process efficiency while improving operators working condition and maintaining the same proper safety level. Danieli Automation SpA has put focus on the development process of a safety system for steel industry robotic applications.
